Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and BLU PLATFORMS PTY LTD (“LinqUp”, “we”, “us”), the company behind LinqUp. They apply to the LinqUp mobile app, the LinqUp web app at app.golinqup.com, and this website at golinqup.com (together, the “service”). By using the service, you agree to them.
Using LinqUp
You must be at least 13 years old to use LinqUp. If you don’t agree with these terms, please don’t use the service.
LinqUp helps groups of people find a time that works and make plans together. The service is currently free. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Your account
You can use LinqUp as a guest, or sign in with Apple or Google to keep your account across devices. Either way, your account is yours: keep access to it secure, and don’t share it or use someone else’s. You are responsible for what happens through your account.
A guest account lives on the device it was created on. If you lose that device, or clear the app’s data, without linking a sign-in provider, we may not be able to recover the account or its plans.
Your content
The plans, availability, and other content you add to LinqUp remain yours. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content as needed to run the service — for example, showing your availability and responses to the other members of your plans.
You are responsible for the content you add. Don’t add anything you don’t have the right to share, or that is unlawful, abusive, or harmful.
Invite links
Plans are joined through invite links. While a plan’s invites are open, anyone with the link can join it and see its details — so treat invite links with care and share them only with the people you want in the plan. Plan owners can close invites and remove members at any time.
Acceptable use
When using LinqUp, you agree not to:
- Break the law, or encourage or help others to break it.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other people.
- Impersonate someone, or misrepresent who you are.
- Send spam, or use the service for unauthorised advertising.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service, its systems, or other people’s accounts and data.
- Scrape the service or collect other users’ information.
We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
Plans happen between people
LinqUp helps people organise get-togethers; we are not a party to them. The plans you make, the places you meet, and your interactions with other users are your own responsibility. Use your judgement about who you share plans and invite links with.
Third-party services
Parts of the service rely on third parties — signing in with Apple or Google, downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play, and push notification delivery. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms.
Ending your use of LinqUp
You can stop using LinqUp at any time, and you can delete your account from your profile in the app. Deleting your account is permanent: it removes your profile and every plan you created, including for the other people in those plans, as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the service. Where reasonable, we’ll give you notice first.
Disclaimers and liability
We work hard to keep LinqUp reliable, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t promise it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that plans and data will never be lost — so keep your own record of anything critical.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantees or other rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded by agreement. Where we are permitted to limit our liability, it is limited, at our choice, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
Beyond what the law doesn’t allow us to exclude, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from the plans and interactions you have with other users, from third-party services, or from events outside our reasonable control.
Changes to the service and these terms
LinqUp is actively developed: features may change, be added, or be removed. We may also update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the date at the top, and if a change is significant we’ll let you know in the app or on this site. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws in force in Australia, and any dispute about them is subject to the jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
